Call 119 ・・for fire outbreak, illness and injuries

To call an ambulance in case of fire, sudden illnesses or serious injuries, dial the number 119 omitting any area code. Provide the following information once you are connected to the Command and Control Center.

1. Fire or medical emergency
2. Location (describe any landmark)
3. Situation（Fire：what is burning/Medical emergency：status of the illness or injury）
4. Your name and contact number 

If it is difficult to decide whether to call an ambulance or proceed to the hospital on your own, dial 7119 omitting any area code, and ask for assistance at the Emergency Telephone Consultation Center.

Call 110 ・・・to report any unusual incident or accident.

To report any criminal incident, theft or accident, call the number 110 omitting any area code. Provide the following information once you are connected to the police.

1. 1. Outline of the incident
   2. When and where the incident occurred
   3. Conditions of victims and witnesses, any injured person
   4.  Suspects’ features (gender, number of suspects, age, clothing, direction of escape and so on)
   5. Your name and contact number

Note:Police boxes are situated at various locations on the streets. File a report at any of these police boxes if you lose any valuables. Lost items will be returned to you once they are found.
